Dear readers,
I am truly thankful for my forty day fast. It wasn’t anything sad or wanting. In fact, I am better for it. A piece of quiet solitude can be a piece of heaven in such a worrisome, noisy world. I pray our world will know that peace one day.
The Easter season is important to me in my Catholic faith and I wish to share the good news: Jesus is Risen! The tomb is empty because He is not here, but in heaven, and in our hearts. He is not simply in memory but is with us every moment, especially in the Holy Eucharist, and in sacred Scripture. As well, he is present in His Church —not the building alone, but in the men and women who commune every Sunday to worship Him.
I am proud to be a Christian, and I reach out my hand to you…in words and in deeds to the best of my ability, by God’s grace. I pray I treat you with kindness and generosity even in the seemingly trivial nature of social networking. God bless you!
